2022 End of AEP Submission Guidelines

December 7th is the last day of AEP! As you are aware, per CMS,
there are several rules regarding last minute applications.

Check out the list of different carrier guidelines below.

Todd Williams

December 9th is the last day to submit all applications that were signed and dated December 7th.

Applications using the AEP Election must be “submitted” by 11:59 pm on December 7th.

BCBS 5 State

As long as the application is postmarked by 12/7 and/or faxed/entered online before midnight on 12/7, we’ll process it as received.

Trish Cloud

They must be submitted on the December 7th date.

David Pallotta

Agent has 48 hours to submit the application into the carrier as long as all dates are 12-7 or before

Agents have 48 hours to turn applications in to Cigna per Michael Mayes

All applications must be submitted prior to 11:59 pm CST (in each market) on 12/7/21. If applications are mailed, they must be signed 12/7/21 or earlier. Mailed apps are given two day leeway for postage

Paper application must be submitted within 48 hours; Applications faxed after 48 hours are non-commissionable.

The last day of AEP is Dec 7, 2021. If it is a paper application and is dated 12/07/2021 you have 48 hrs to turn in the enrollment. If the enrollment is done in DRX system they have to be submitted by 11:59pm on 12/07/2021.
