Applications eligible for this incentive include commission-eligible, accepted and paid AARP Medicare Supplement Plans F, G and N for ages 65+ that are underwritten1, within their Medicare supplement Open Enrollment period2, are within their California annual one-month Birthday Open Enrollment Period, or external switchers that qualify for the Freedom to Switch offer.

Eligible applications must be for November 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022 plan effective dates, with applicant signature dates starting October 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022. Applicants must reside in California.
Payout calculations and incentive payment will occur early April 2022 via your usual commission payment process. Applications must be accepted and commissioned prior to April 12, 2022. This means that any outstanding pending applications that become accepted on or after April 12, 2022, will not count toward the incentive.
Here’s an Example of how the Incentive works:
Agent submitted 12 commission-eligible age 65+, accepted and paid AARP Medicare Supplement Plan applications – 3 in Plan F, 5 in Plan G, 4 in Plan N – with plan effective dates of November 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022 with applicant signature dates from October 1, 2021, through February 28, 2022. All applicants reside in California. Two Plan G applications are Guaranteed issue, all others were within their Medicare supplement Open Enrollment period or underwritten.
Agent Participation
Active EDC and ICA writing agents, including solicitor agents, authorized to offer, licensed, appointed, and certified with UnitedHealthcare to offer AARP Medicare Supplement plans in the state of California are eligible to participate in this incentive. ISR and telesales agents are not eligible to participate. Up-line payments do not apply. Incentive payments for Solicitor agent applications are payable to the Solicitor agent’s up-line.
Eligible EDC/ICA writing agents, including solicitor agents, must be active and authorized to offer AARP Medicare Supplement Plans on April 12, 2022 to receive incentive payment. EDC/ICA writing agents who are eligible to participate in the incentive but who are in servicing or terminated status on April 12, 2022 are not eligible for incentive payment.
Agents who participate must comply with CMS, state and UnitedHealthcare requirements.
Incentive payments will be made in accordance with applicable state rules.
UnitedHealthcare reserves the right to end or modify the Sales Incentive at any time without notice. UnitedHealthcare will determine qualification of applications and application counts for this incentive program. All decisions are final.
